Breakfast

I had hoped to follow up yesterday's eggs with our first crocuses, but my shots were all out of focus. I was trying to keep the camera from drowning, as the rain had arrived with a gusto, so I couldn't really see the screen too well. One more sign of spring is the silly things that the goats are doing these days. I have not seen so much frolicking from the older goats since last year. Zahra was trying to be like those tree goats and climb on the Christmas tree for her hay. That was a new one. Good old Andouille is growing like mad on mother's milk. Zola is growing also.
Her udder is getting closer to dragging on the ground and her due date is getting closer too (8th?). Everyone is doing well and the kids are all crazy-active, and eating more with mom in the field. Things are slowly greening under the winter mat of hay and grass. Can you see it? Soon enough the goats will have some real food out there.
