Good Friends. Goodbye Visit.

My friend Juliann, that I have known from our last home in Canton, Connecticut, has been a regular visitor with her family and friends over the years.
Her daughter Lillian has just about grown up here, with visits in winter and summer, sometimes bringing her pals too.
All the goats took turns rubbing and sniffing, and trying to hog the spools.
Twee says, "Its my spool. I'm not sure I can share."
Adeline and half sister Brianna captured another spool.
Brianna was being stand offish and decided to just Vogue for us.
Then she joined her mother at the other spool again.
Saba let her curiosity get the best of her - love this shot!
It was a special visit from special friends.

Earth Day

Today was a crisp day to be outdoors, but I got to warm myself up with three walks to enjoy my celebration of Earth Day.
What's fun at the farm is that I start with the dog, but then the cats join in.
They follow, then blast past.
Fight with each other, and then go to stalk something along the pond bank.
This is my last Earth Day on the farm.
Its been Earth Day everyday here.
Its been awesome.

My Bridge Project

Once or twice I've mentioned this project and after almost ten years of involvement, the end is in sight.
Today the main part of the bridge was set in place over Mill Creek on old Ligonier Valley Railroad abutments.
Yes- a real rail to trail project.
