UGH!
I stepped outside to do some chores yesterday and just saw this blood and guts. Tell me...what are those parts they don't eat? I couldn't tell if two rodents died or just one. Who was the killer? What were those shears used for? Someone is doing their job.
The sun got those mice out of their little holes after three or four bitter, snowy days. Good eats...I guess?

Oh my...I hate finding parts myself!
I'm so sad right now...my mama cat and the four babies that we've had for almost six months now have moved out of our barn...I have no idea where she's taken them. I had scheduled them for their spaying and neutering on the 19th of March. They must be coming back for food because the food bowl is going down, but no signs of them...my daughter calls me the crazy cat lady because I've gone out calling for them, driving up and down the road looking for them, etc. I sure hope they're safe...

Maybe the good weather has made them wander? Well, you are trying to do a good thing with them. I hope they come back. Unfortunately, there will always be new cats and kittens to be crazy over!
