Beach Time

I have loved Lewes, Delaware ever since I went there with my high school for a week at the Marine Science Consortium. Over many years, I have visited with high school, college and family friends, and relatives. Now my daughter is capturing the photos with me.We always camped and beached at Cape Henlopen State Park. These days we stay along the canal,...
but the beach is still a favorite. We've enjoyed the canal in Lewes for the past three summers,... and love seeing the boats...from morning......till night.

Love your photos, especially the last one. Actually, they remind me areas going down to Grand Isle, Louisiana, where shrimp boats dock. I'd heard of Lewes but haven't been. It's not that far from us, perfect for a weekend trip. Thanks for opening a new world!

We love it here.

We have been here in a hurricane and in perfect weather and we always just enjoy hanging on the balcony to watch.

Wish we waited another week for the smaller crowds, but the state park is a wonderful place. This is a perfect time to go.
