The burn pile in the corner of the field has been growing for months.
The debate was how many months. Close to a year?
Each time there was a plan for a burn, the winds came up, the rains poured, and now the foot and a half of snow.
But did that stop our neighbor Ron from making it into an event. Nope!
Did I mention its 9 degrees F out there too?The debate was how many months. Close to a year?

His wife invited a few friends.
I think they cooked all day. Yum!
The kids are out there sledding and screaming and making a blast out of an otherwise inside day. It was a great way to enjoy a fantastic week of snow.
And get the burn pile down.

Already looking forward to the next burn.
