Arbor Project -Done For Now

Friday was a busy, hard working day. We were ready for rafters, and the tails needed trimming, so I designed the templates for what I wanted. We got help from my son-in-law for the next stage. We also were assisted, and well documented, by our daughter. The guys did all of the heavy stuff, which was good. I had started to aggravate the rotator cuff shoulder injury, as we ended Thursday night's prep work. With SIL's input, we lined up the face boards a bit differently than the original design, and got a very pleasing look. For now the project is done. We want to wait and see what is needed to darken the area more, depending on the rotation of the sun.
For now we have a grand looking arbor.
Thanks everyone!

Beautiful! Your photos made it look easy, but hard work done right always looks easy, a compliment to the busy bees! As an aside, I sighed deeply when I read your comment. For I felt your pain, the frustration. Remember the TV show Bewitched? There are times when I'd love to twitch my nose and make things right, for your nephew, for Wendy, for all the deep sighs that lack words. Anyway, love your arbor. Hope you blog later with flower photos....
